Makes 28 small discs
4 discs=1 "bar"=daily serving of green powder:)
7 medjool dates
1c. almond butter(I made mine in the vitamix, or a very strong food processor. Or obviously, store-bought will work too, although will cost more.)
5-7tbls. greens+ green powder(start with 5, add more if you can)
1-2tbls. almond milk
Process the dates in food processor, then add almond butter, and green powder. Slowly add in the almond milk. It should make them form a ball, but you don't want them too wet! Pour out onto parchment paper and shape into small discs. Enjoy!
For a chocolate version
Melt 2tbls. chocolate chips with 1tsp. coconut oil
Dip discs into bowl of chocolate and place on parchment paper. Freeze for 10 minutes to set chocolate. Keep refrigerated for best results:)
Note: Making homemade almond butter in a vitamix can be tricky, you must have at least 3c. of almonds to achieve desired consistency.3c.= 1 1/4c. almond butter:)
